Have we ever said we love repeat clients? It helps us to build a strong relationship with you, our clients. With each session, we are more and more comfortable with each other, and our posing flow is much more seamless. Creating beautiful timeless images for you to cherish forever.
Another bonus of working with clients multiple times is they trust you when you make on the fly changes. As was the case in this family session with Katie, Sean and family.
Since we decided on our initial location sight unseen, we got there earlier than usual to scope the place out. And we are very thankful that we did. There was zero shade and the park was highly unattractive. With 30 minutes to go before the shoot, we googled places in the area, and Historic Occoquan popped up. If you want an adorable old town to walk around we will always recommend here. We had done personal shoots there before, so we knew it would work out perfectly. We offered that as a secondary location, and since we have a previous relationship, they agreed without any delay, and we are so glad they did!
If you remember, Katie and Sean were our first real maternity shoot. When Katie reached back out to us for newborn lifestyle pictures we had to say yes!
Now we have to admit, we were very intimidated by a newborn baby. But since we’ve worked with them before, our nervousness was tampered slightly. And their smiling, proud faces with new baby in Sean’s arms put all our fears at ease. Katie looked absolutely amazing for just having a one month old. And Sean was truly beaming ear to ear over their new little girl.
Our outdoor family session took place in June, and we were fighting sunlight, both difficult situations for a newborn. But they were all amazing! The park we were in had perfect shade and the slight breeze from the river helped the heat.
Our family session with Katie and Sean was such a great follow up from their maternity session and we can’t wait to hopefully document their family as they grow throughout the years!
