We loved our Couples session with Mahfam and Colin- they were such a joy to shoot.  

We first met on instagram (check out our account here!), and she was a huge supporter of all our posts.  I (Jacki) saw she would like all our images and comment as well, and we loved that about her, well we still do! After following her for a while, we realized that we lived in the same city! Talk about coincidence! So when we put out a model call for joyful locals to have couples portrait session, she was the first to respond. Of course that just made my day. 

Our shoot was at a local battlefield that we frequently work at. And we couldn’t stop smiling at them from the time they showed up to the time they left.  When Mahfam and Colin showed up, she was wearing a super cute blue and white and dress and he was coordinating perfectly, with white pants and Sperrys. They looked like they walked out of a catalog, and we knew it would be a beautiful photo session.

We could tell how much they were into each other by the way they interacted with each other. We had such an easy time capturing images of the love they showed for each other. They giggled every two minutes and couldn’t stop touching, which made our job so much easier. 

As a fellow Fredericksburg photographer, she was a natural in how to act in front of the camera and took direction perfectly. Colin was just as easy to work with.  Also, we loved his English accent. 

While we walked from scenery to scenery, they almost posed themselves. Their natural inclination was to just be near each other, adoring eachother with each step. We didn’t want to stop taking pictures of them, even as the sun was going down – even in the last picture, they were just oozing love for each other! Have we mentioned we love couples who are happy, just like this couple!
