We love this maternity sesssion. When our good long time friends asked us to do a maternity and family photoshoot of course we said yes and it ignited our passion for photography. This shoot was supposed to take place at a well known beautiful garden/home in Richmond, but they had a festival going on that was not socialized so we went to our backup. Byrd Park right across the street. While we didn’t get the beautiful pergola and home, we came out of it with these gorgeous dreamy images we printed and they hung on their walls. (more on that in another post!)

The day was very little overcast which is our favorite. Just a hint of clouds to get a little bit of diffusing when the sun is harsh. We had an outfit change and let me tell you both were perfect. And how perfect are these three? They were so natural and looked so happy together. We did have to do some stepping around goose poop but you couldn’t tell! We had shot at this location before and the exact same issue with the location had happened haha! But we knew the bridge was an amazing spot, so of course we shot there. The glowy sun and lake with the trees made it so incredibly dreamy.
